Ozone Concentration in Los Angeles

In this project, the ozone dataset which is a part of the gclus package in R is analysed. The dataset contains information about the ozone concentration in Los Angeles and meteorogical data. Ozone data discussed in Breiman and Friedman (JASA, 1985, p. 580). These data are for 330 days in 1976. All measurements are in the area of Upland, CA, east of Los Angeles.

Let’s start by presenting an overview of the ozone dataset, its basic features, and then proceed to fitting a general linear model, performing a residual analysis, fitting generalized linear models, comparing the models, making reductions, and presenting visual representations.
