Hello! Welcome to the website of Vilém Knap. The primary purpose of this site is to showcase several projects in the variety of fields that caught my interest such as statistics, data science, machine learning, transport planning and modelling and software development.
Vilem completed his bachelor degree at Czech Technical University with specialization in Intelligent Transport Systems. Then he moved to Denmark to pursue degree Technical University of Denmark where he studied Data science and Machine learning application to Transportation and Logistics. His vision consists of linking areas of computer and data science with mobility and urbanism.
During his final year of study-programme Vilem started working part-time as Transport Modeller. After he sucessfully defended his final project and graduated, he has fully dived himself into the world of Transport Modelling. In his personal time, Vilem likes to play violin, photograph on his analogue camera and if weather allows it cycle long routes in nature.
